The tide was a bit too early for us lazy lot on Saturday, plus there was no racing and no safety boat. However, Sunday saw many of our group join in with the Support Boat training, organised by John Gayner. (Well done to everyone for getting involved in supporting a different aspect of the club).

Easter weekend treated us to cool weather, variable winds and big gusts. Not great, especially for beginners. However, Kevin and I decided to enter the race on Good Friday and came a respectable "not last". A bit hairy at times, but some good speed and no capsizes (very close once or twice!). James attempted to take some of you out on the club Wanderer and Harry took his partner out on his Enterprise, but unfortunately it was a bit too much to handle.

We are proud to announce the formation of the Enterprise group at LSC. Our aim is to get people sailing, from complete novices without any sailing experience to expert sailors who are willing to show us a thing or two.

Super sailing last weekend, and what fantastic weather. A very foggy and slow start on Saturday, but the skies cleared and the wind picked up just enough after noon to get some movement out of the boats. Clear blue skies, hot weather and a perfect amount of wind for training on Sunday. Unfortunately the beautiful weather also brings down the visitors to "our" beach, which meant that we weren't really able to swap people around the boats, due to having no space left on the beach.
